Retinaldehyde is the vitamin A derivative that is located one metabolic step (chemical transformation in the cell) from the biologically active active ingredient retinol acid, i.e. the second strongest retinoid. According to research, the retinal is more than 10 times as effective as retinol in converting to the active acid form in the skin. Its effectiveness cannot be disputed even compared to retinol, yet retinal is a much gentler and well-tolerated active ingredient. Retinal helps the epithelial cells renew as soon as possible, thus supporting the self-renewal functions of the epidermis and the skin, helping to fade increased pigment disorders and treat acne.

Retinal in our new cosmetics helps the epithelial cells renew as soon as possible, thus supporting the self-renewal functions of the epidermis and the skin, helping to fade increased pigment disorders. In addition, the main plant ingredients of the retinal product family: the active ingredients of apricot, rowan, and carrot help supply the skin surface with vitamins and minerals. With its regular use, the skin is renewed, firm and radiant.

What are the main ingredients? apricot, rowan, carrot juice, retinal 0.05%, hyaluron, vitamin F, vitamin C 

How does it work? The Retinal Serum offers a complex skin care solution that covers anti-ageing treatment and spot fading. Its biologically active retinal is absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin and its antioxidant action effectively boosts collagen production, hence improving skin tone and texture, while it also proves itself as an excellent active ingredient in the fight against acne. The product helps in the rapid renewal of epithelial cells, thus supporting the self-renewal functions of the epidermis and the skin, helping to fade increased pigmentation irregularities. Its multi-molecular hyaluronic acid content reduces the depth and area of fine lines and wrinkles and helps strengthen the skin’s protective layer. In combination with vitamin C, this acts as a powerful antioxidant to counteract the formation of harmful free radicals. The active ingredients in apricots, rowan and carrots help in supplying vitamins and minerals to the skin’s surface. The regular use of this product gets the skin renewed, firmed and glowing.

 How to use it at home? Recommended for evening use as part of the daily routine. The product should be used two or three times a week during the first few weeks to accustom the skin. In subsequent weeks, it is recommended once a day, or every second day for sensitive skin. Apply 4 to 6 drops of the product on cleansed face, neck and cleavage, avoiding the sensitive area around the eyes. For daytime use, additional sunscreen is recommended due to the photosensitising effect of the retinal.
